Can I use my iPhone SIM card in another phone?

Can I use my iPhone SIM card in another phone?
I like to go Kayaking. I also like to take my phone with me.Can I take the SIM card out of of my iPhone and put in a cheap ATampT phone so if I flip I wont lose my iPhone?

shouldnt be a problem, but call Atampt tech support and just ask them. GSM phones are interchangeable. I had an HTC and it broke, so I bought a cheap GO phone and popped in my SIM.brbrDo not buy the GO phone from AtampT directly, as they make you pay an activation fee for a new sim card. If you need it quick, try to find a Best Buy or similar store with one on sale. If you can wait for shipping, look on ebay. Ive got the cheapest flip phone, the plastic black samsung one. I got it for bucks at a store, but you can find them cheap as hell with a quick google search or an ebay search.brbrAlso, check on older used models. I know Verizon had a phone for a bit that was all rugged and meant for outdoor people. Slightly waterproof and the like. Not sure if they ever made something in the GSM family like that.
