Are You Afraid of Dying?
Just asking. death is something that has to come to everyone you know.
Yes I am, although I try to temper that inborn fear with faith in a life hereafter and a God who loves me.brbrI find it very encouraging when I read or hear about people who have died for some short period and then were brought back to life, and they proclaim how, after theyve had a glimpse of whats on the other side, they no longer fear death. That in my mind is one of the strongest validations that the Atheists are wrong and the people who do have faith in a Higher Power are on the right track.brbrI believe that fear of dying is like an instinct we are all born with and which pervades just about every living creature. People can boast that they dont fear death and I believe that if their faith is strong enough, they have convinced themselves that theyve lost that fear. However because that fear is so instinctual, I really dont believe they have absolutely zero fear of death now and are just trying to impress others with what a quotspiritual championquot they are unless theyve really been dead before and brought back such that they can speak from actual experience.brbrquotO death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?quot Corinthians . If you are a person of faith, you are taught that you can overcome your fear of death and in the Christian world, of course, that power comes through faith and belief in Christ who overcame death and rose again. Whether you believe in Christ or not, I think its a better way to live a happier life because running around fearing death just kinda sucks, you know? Who wants to live in fear?
Are you afraid of dying?
i wonder who is going to cry for me when i die, arent you?
Not anymore, I realize that I was more afraid of living as I dreamed, you dont choose to die or either is your time or not as simple as that, so why should I be afraid of that?brbrI dont know about you, but the people around me would be sad if I wasnt here anymore, but... to be honest I think they would cry a lot if they knew I could have a better life and I chose not to lived it.... that is a reason for crying.brbrIts easier even to let go people even when you love the most, when you have the certain that they lived their lifes to the best, when they not... you cry one day after the other, that shadow is more a true fear for me to not go for my goals than just a cycle in life itself.

I donated blood for the first time yesterday and according to the nurses my donation will be divided and given to three different people. It wasnt that bad really. Does anyone else donate, and why do you do it or, why dont you?.
For my life between and , I donated at my various work places for a total of times.brbrBack in the mid s, folks started to hear that AIDS was contracted by quotdonated bloodquot. It was kind of stupid and funny that less people volunteered their blood because the risk of AIDS. brbrOf course they have a ton of questions to try and weed out the donors that are practicing homosexuals, going back years.
